President Türk and his wife, Barbara Mikliè Türk, then attended a commemoration marking the 67th anniversary of the liberation of Nazi concentration camps.

In his speech, the President poited out that today, when we live in freedom and peace, the horrors of war are becoming an increasingly distant memory. "Let us be tolerant to each other and let us look to the future. It requires respect for the truth, mutual consideration and cooperation, negotiation and agreement," he added.
