Presidents of the Republics of Slovenia and Croatia open a new joint investment

The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Danilo Türk, and the President of the Republic of Croatia, Dr Ivo Josipović, open the Wellness Hotel Terme Tuhelj, a new Slovenian-Croatian investment (photo: Nebojša Tejić/STA)President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Danilo Türk, and President of the Republic of Croatia, Dr Ivo Josipović, opened the Wellness Hotel Terme Tuhelj in Croatia, a new Slovenian-Croatian investment worth EUR 12 million, for which both presidents laid the foundation stone in April 2011. Upon the opening of the facility, President Türk expressed his wish for more cooperation of this kind between Slovenia and Croatia and for more joint investments on both sides of the border. The future of both countries in all aspects lies in harmony, close economic cooperation and coexistence, he continued.

According to the President, the facility shows that this part of Europe is progressive and can offer a high quality of life and, as such, is also a symbol of progress in Europe as a whole. President also added that the new hotel reflects good faith between Slovenia and Croatia, which is very important for our future cooperation and has to be further strengthened for the resolution of all outstanding issues.
