Slovenian President receives the President of the European Central Bank

The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Danilo Türk, received the President of the European Central Bank, Mario Draghi, with whom he discussed the current situation and the development of the Eurosystem. They touched upon the role of the ECB in this context, the expectations concerning the European Stability Mechanism and banking union. The pair also exchanged views on the pressing need to develop a coherent system which is to include all these elements in a way that will strengthen the stability of the eurozone and enable the resolution of issues arising in this respect.
