President Türk ensured his guest that Slovenian support for Macedonian efforts to join Euro-Atlantic organisations is principled and consistent, adding that the Republic of Slovenia will express its support in all forums. He also stressed that bilateral economic relations have to be developed more intensively and, in particular, all the problems of Slovenian investors in the Republic of Macedonia have to be addressed promptly.

The President also mentioned that the very close relations between Slovenian and Macedonian parliaments could be further improved by a more comprehensive exchange of opinions on various legislative questions which are on the agendas of both parliaments. Europe is in the process of changing and reforming, and from this point of view, the exchange of experience is useful for both countries, added President Türk.
