 | President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Danilo Türk, opened the competitions for the FIM Motocross World Championship in the MX3 class and the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship at the track in Orehova vas. President commended Avtomoto dru¹tvo Orehova vas and other participants on the excellent organisation of the competition and care for young participants and competitors.
President also said that he is particularly pleased that the event includes the world championship in women’s motocross, and added that he admires the courage and audacity of all the competitors. He stressed the importance of the occasion for the establishment of ties of friendship between competitors from different countries and highlighted the significance of the event for the local environment. Sporting events at such a high level are a basis for new opportunities in the areas of tourism and economy. |
