Slovenian President Danilo Türk congratulates Serbian President Boris Tadiĉ on his re-election

The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Danilo Türk, today congratulated the President of the Republic of Serbia, Boris Tadiĉ, on his re-election as President and wished him much success in performing this important office.

“The presidential elections were also an important expression of the consolidation of democracy which is an essential element in the stability and peace of the region,” said the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Danilo Türk, in his message of congratulations.At the same time he voiced his belief that the present friendly relations between Slovenia and Serbia would be strengthened further in future and that their reciprocal cooperation based on the principles of equality and mutual respect would contribute to progress in both countries.
