Appointment of ambassadors and opening of permanent representations of the Republic of Slovenia abroad

President of the Republic of Slovenia Dr Danilo Türk issued the following decrees on the appointment of resident ambassadors and opening of permanent representations of the Republic of Slovenia abroad:
- On 24 June 2010 a decree appointing Iztok Mirošič Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Italian Republic (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 28 June 2010);
- On 1 July 2010 a decree appointing Vojko Volk Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Republic of Croatia (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 9 July 2010);
- On 8 July 2010 a decree on the opening of a Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to the UN, OSCE and other international organisations in Vienna; the previous Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to OSCE will continue its operation as a constituent part of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to the UN, OSCE and other international organisations in Vienna (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 12 July 2010);
- On 9 July 2010 a decree appointing Dr Robert Kokalj Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Arab Republic of Egypt (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 12 July 2010);
- On 19 July 2010 a decree on the on the opening of a Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 23 July 2010);
- On 19 July 2010 a decree appointing Matjaž Kovačič Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the United Nations Office and other international organisations at Geneva (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 23 July 2010);
- On 19 July 2010 a decree appointing Dr Rado Genorio Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the European Union in Brussels (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 23 July 2010);
- On 26 July 2010 a decree appointing Dr Milan Jazbec Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Republic of Turkey (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 30 July 2010);
- On 27 July 2010 a decree appointing Maja Marija Lovrenčič Svetek Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Holy See (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 3 August 2010);
- On 29 July 2010 a decree appointing Franc But Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Republic of Serbia (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 3 August 2010);
- On 10 August 2010 a decree appointing Veronika Stabej Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the French Republic (published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije on 13 August 2010).
