These partner relations should result in as much specific cooperation as possible and include the participation of all European states. Within this context, they both dealt with the questions of liberalization of visa arrangements, European security and participation of European states in Russia's modernization.

They also addressed the political, economic and cultural aspects of cooperation between Slovenia and Russia, which is developing very well. The Speaker of the Russian Duma Gryzlov pointed out that Slovenia, on the occasion of last year's official visit of President Türk in Moscow, was among the first states to conclude a partnership agreement with Russia regarding its modernization.
