President Dr. Drnovšek sent congratulatory note to the Queen of England

The President of the Republic of Slovenia Dr. Janez Drnovšek sent a congratulatory letter to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of Her Majesty's 80th birthday. He extended on behalf of the Republic of Slovenia and on his own behalf his congratulations and best wishes for the prosperity and well-being of Her Majesty and of her people.
He used the fortuitous occasion to express his belief that the friendly relations that so happily exist between the two nations shall continue to develop in the spirit of strengthening cooperation, prosperity and the common European future.
