On the occasion of the terrorist attack in London, President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Janez Drnovšek sent a message of condolence to Queen Elizabeth II extending his sincere condolences and solidarity with all inhabitants of London and Great Britain. He also expressed his deepest sympathies to the families of the innocent victims and all the people affected by this terrorist attack.
In the message, President Dr Drnovšek said: "This malicious attack confirms our belief that terrorism stands as one of the greatest threats of today, jeopardizing democratic values we strive for, and in its destructing force disdains human lives and achievements of human creativity. For this very reason the terrorism must not be given a chance to obtain the abiding right in no part of the world, and we have to fight against it by pooling all available resources."
