President Janez Drnovšek offered condolences concerning terrorist attacks in Sharm el-Sheikh

The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Janez Drnovšek, has sent to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr Hosni Mubarak, a telegram message expressing condolences on behalf of the Slovene people and in his own name concerning the terrorist attacks in Sharm el-Sheikh which claimed new innocent victims. Dr Drnovšek also asked President Mubarak to convey his sympathies to the families who lost their dearest.
Furthermore, Dr Drnovšek noted that Slovenia most severely condemns all forms of terrorism. He went on to stress that this vile attack only confirmed our belief that terrorism is one of the greatest threats of our time since it resorts to even the most brutal crime. In his telegram Dr Drnovšek added that we must join forces to stop terrorism.
