Assignment of budgetary funds

The President of the Republic, Dr Janez Drnovšek, has decided to additionally restrict the planned budgetary expenditure of the Office of the President. After the initial reallocation of EUR 25,000 as a relief measure for the recent natural disaster in September, he also set aside an additional EUR 110,000 for the reserve fund of the Republic of Slovenia. According to the provisions of the Public Finance Act, the monies from this fund can only be used to finance the elimination of consequences of natural disasters.
