President of Slovenia sent letter of thanks to the Pakistani President

Upon successfully completed rescue operation by which a Slovene alpine climber Tomaž Humar was brought down from the mountain of Nanga Parbat in Pakistan, President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Janez Drnovšek sent a letter of thanks to the President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharaff. In the letter he expressed his gratitude for President’s engagement and support in saving the Slovene citizen.
Furthermore, Dr. Drnovšek thanked all individuals and institutions in Pakistan, especially the pilots and members of the rescue team, Pakistani army and diplomats, who unselfishly and with dedication and courage helped to bring the Slovene alpine climber down from the mountain of Nanga Parbat.
