Meeting of President Drnovšek and the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy

The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Janez Drnovšek, who will be participating in the forum “Community of Democratic Choice” tomorrow at the invitation of Ukrainian President Victor Yushchenko, held a meeting with the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy, Mr Javier Solana, on arrival in Ukraine.
They discussed pre-accession endeavours of the countries of South-East Europe to the EU. A great deal of attention was paid to relations in Serbia and Montenegro and talks on the status of Kosovo. Dr Drnovšek and Mr Solana also touched on the new Financial Perspective for the period 2007–2013.
