President of the Republic visited the exhibition of the American photographer Edward S. Curtis

At the invitation of the Ambassador of the United States of America to Slovenia, Mr Thomas B. Robertson, the President of the Republic, Dr Janez Drnovšek, today visited the exhibition of the American photographer Edward S. Curtis at the Slovenian Ethnographical Museum.
Accompanied by the United States Ambassador and the Director of the Slovenian Ethnographical Museum, Ms Bojana Rogelj Škafar, Slovenian President Dr Drnovšek viewed the exhibition of sixty photographs selected from the private collection of Christopher Cardozo who is considered to be the leading international expert on Curtis' photography.
The photographs represent the extreme versatility of the North American Indians and at the same time celebrate the famous photographer Edward S. Curtis.
