Condolences to the Swedish King

The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Janez Drnovšek, sent condolences to Carl XVI Gustav, King of Sweden, on the occasion of the tragic death of Anna Lindh, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, expressing profound shock at the death of the popular minister.

The President conveyed expressions of deep and sincere condolences on his own behalf and on behalf of the Slovene nation. In the telegraph, the President also offered deep sympathy to the family of the deceased minister.
