President Dr Drnovšek assumes the Office of the Former President Milan Kučan

The newly elected President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Janez Drnovšek, assumed office from his predecessor Milan Kučan. The event took place at the Presidential Palace, Prešernova 8, following President Drnovšek’s inspection of the unit of honour of the 12th Guard Battalion of the Slovene Armed Forces.
