Letters of Credence from the Ambassador of Kazakhstan

The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Janez Drnovšek, today received the Letters of Credence from the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr Dulat Kuanishev, who is stationed in Vienna and who will be a non-resident ambassador to Slovenia.
In the talks with President Drnovšek, Mr Kuanishev expressed interest in studying possible investments in the Slovenian economy. In the view of both, the relevant legal basis needs to be put in place.
Ambassador Kuanishev congratulated President Drnovšek on the OSCE presidency and informed him of Kazakhstan’s candidature for this office in 2009.
