President Drnovšek attends the swearing-in of the new Portuguese President

The President of the Republic of Slovenia Dr Janez Drnovšek today attended the solemn swearing-in of the new Portuguese President, Mr Aníbal Cavaco Silva, in Lisbon.
A large number of foreign dignitaries attended the ceremony, among them former US President George Bush, HRH Crown Prince Felipe of Spain and the President of the European Commission José Manuel Durao Barroso.
