President of the Republic attends performance of La Traviata

President of the Republic Dr Janez Drnovšek tonight attended the gala opera performance of Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata. The performance was given by the orchestra, choir and soloists of the Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballet in Ljubljana, under the leadership of conductor Peter Feranec. The gala performance took place in the renovated Congress Hall of Gospodarsko razstavišče in Ljubljana.
