The President of the Republic of Slovenia receives the Letters of Credence from the Ambassador of Greece

The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Janez Drnovšek, today received the Letters of Credence from the Ambassador Of Greece, Dionyssios Coundoureas.
During the meeting, President Drnovšek expressed his satisfaction with bilateral relations and his belief that both countries can act together within the EU and NATO, particularly as regards our contribution to the stability of the Western Balkans. President Drnovšek also pointed out that the heritage of ancient Greece was the cultural heritage of the entire Europe and drawing upon it may provide valuable lessons to address the needs of today's world.
The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Janez Drnovšek, has renewed the invitation to the Greek President Dr. Karolos Papoulias to visit Slovenia next year.
At the end of the audience, President Drnovšek wished the Ambassador Dionyssios Coundoureas a pleasant stay and a lot of success in his mission.
