Orthodox Christmas Greetings

Today, Orthodox worshippers around the world are celebrating Christmas. On this occasion, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Janez Drnovšek, sends his personal greetings and best wishes to the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Slovenia, Peran Bošković:

"For Christmas, which all Orthodox worshippers are celebrating today, I wish all citizens of the Orthodox religion in Slovenia much happiness and satisfaction in their personal and professional lives. I wish you all the successful fulfilment of the noblest religious traditions in your everyday life, especially the care and responsibility for your fellow man and the creation.

I also extend my best wishes and greetings to you, the respected leader of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Slovenia. I kindly ask that you convey my heartfelt holiday greetings to the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Pavl, and the Metropolitan, Jovan."
