AWARD FOR CONTRIBUTION TO PEACE

The President of the Republic of Slovenia is part of an elite club of those European politicians whose wisdom, authority and charisma are a guarantee for peace and stability, co-operation and development in Europe, said Jean-Paul Carteron, President of the Crans Montana Forum at this year's Prix de la Fondation Crans Montana award ceremony held in Monaco under the patronage of Prince Rainier III of Monaco. Jean-Paul Carteron pointed out Slovenia's path to independence, its successful social transition and integration into European structures and, in particular, the fact that Slovenia maintained peace and stability on this path and strengthened freedom.
